Books I Recommend

I love to read.  These are the books I would most recommend.

All of these books are available at your local Christian Bookstore.  If not make sure to ask the clerk to order them for you.
  • A Million Ways To Die by Rick James - This is how to explain dying to self and identity in Christ.
  • Busted by Fred Von Kamecke - Simply the best apologetics book ever.  Mythbusters for Christians.
  • The Christian Atheist by Craig Groeschel - A challenging and riveting book.  Are you a Christian Atheist?  I sure was.
  • Dirty God - Grace explained, Grace experienced.  A wonderful and captivating book.
  • The End of Religion by Bruxy Cavey - This one spoke to me.  I found the back to basics approach to be life changing.
  • Glorious Mess by Mike Howerton - One of the best books on grace I have ever read.
  • The Invitation by  Greg Sidders - The not so simple truth of following Jesus.
  • Mad Church Disease by Anne Jackson - This is by far the best book I have ever read on surviving burnout.  A must have for any bookshelf.
  • Make Love, Make War by Brian Doerkson - This book has touched my heart like no other book in recent memory.
  • The Naked Gospel and God Without Religion by Andrew Farley -Leave your preconceived ideas at the door and prepared to be challenged.
  • Your Secret Name by Kary Oberbrunner - This will be a Christian Classic.  It is already a life changer.
  • AW Tozer, Mark Buchanan, Philip Yancey and Tom Davis - Any book by these authors will challenge you and change you for life.
